On 8th June 2023, the delegates of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo consisting of the Director of Department of Research and Service Community, Head of Department Cooperation and International Affairs, Dean and lectures came to Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) which is located in Bukit Chandan, Bandar Diraja Kuala Kangsar, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia.
With this visit, UMSIDA and USAS build beneficial partnerships both of the universities in order to increase and strength each other. The agreement was signed by the delegates of both universities, Mrs. Isna Fitria Agustina from The Department of Cooperation and International Affairs UMSIDA and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anas bin Md Yusof as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Administration& Finance
The agreement formed at the international event in order to achieve the three pillars of higher education as known as Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, the form of collaboration like students exchange for study program of communications sciences, matching grant that is international joint research with the Department of Research and Service Community where both universities will act as a partner or co-researcher in all research proposal submitted by either university. Then, creating Lecturer exchange for study programs of communications sciences, accounting, informatics and industry. Furthermore joining community services program that conducted by Department of Research and Service Community and USAS including internship of study program. Its open for various study program such as psychology, magister of management, magister of Islamic education and English education.
