Loei, Thailand – After a four-month internship in Thailand, students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) have successfully completed their teaching internship in Loei Province (29/12/2024). The program concluded with a certificate handover ceremony, marking the end of the internship journey.
During the four months, the UMSIDA students, majoring in English Education, contributed to teaching at local schools, introducing audiovisual-based learning methods to enhance the students’ English language skills. The internship aimed to improve students’ communication and teaching abilities while strengthening educational ties between Indonesia and Thailand.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity, as it allowed me to develop my teaching techniques and gain insights into a foreign education system. It’s an experience I will carry with me throughout my career,” Said Raditya, an internship student from UMSIDA. “The support from the school and the warm reception from the students made this entire journey unforgettable. I’ve learned as much from them as they have from me.”
The closing ceremony was attended by teachers, internship students, and school staff who collaborated with the interns throughout the program. In their speech, the school representatives expressed gratitude for the dedication and contributions made by the UMSIDA students during the internship.
The certificate handover symbolized recognition of the students’ hard work and accomplishments during their time abroad. The UMSIDA students hope this experience will serve as valuable preparation for their future careers, expanding their networks and cross-cultural understanding.
